Detailed Description
Design and development of the Waterman's Yacht Club & Fine Dining website, a premium seafood and steakhouse with its own marina in Galveston, Texas. A dark interface with a luxury brand identity that reflects the maritime elegance of the establishment.
The Challenge
Translate the identity of a luxury restaurant with over 40 years of history — seafood, premium cuts, marina, and events — into a digital experience that conveyed maritime elegance, functioned as a real business tool (menus, events, gift cards), and maintained optimal performance.
Our Solution
Built with Next.js 16 (App Router) and React 19, leveraging Server/Client Component architecture. The design uses Tailwind CSS 4 with a custom maritime palette theme and Noto Serif + Manrope typography. Animations, parallax, and scroll transitions were implemented with Framer Motion. Features include an interactive menu with a tab system (main menu, kids menu, event catering, drinks), a gift card builder with preset and custom amounts, an events calendar with image carousel and live music details, and a marina section with services, amenities, and custom SVG iconography. Clean 7-page route structure.
Results Achieved
Mobile-first responsive website with a luxury dark interface, fluid animations, and a clean 7-page structure. Complete business platform featuring a multi-category interactive menu, gift card builder, events calendar, and marina section — all with the visual elegance the establishment demands.
